Lying between countries including Zambia, Mozambique and Botswana, Zimbabwe’s combination of areas of natural beauty and reserves ideal for safari adventures makes it a fine Southern African destination. It shares many natural sights in common with its northerly neighbour Zambia, with the world’s largest waterfall Victoria Falls lying on the border of the two countries and the gorgeous Zambezi River also flowing through them both. You can also take a walk on the wild side in Zimbabwe with a trip to one of its many nature reserves, with Hwange National Park being the largest and home to hundreds of species of mammals and birds. For something a little more rugged, the Eastern Highlands are a perfect location for stunning views, trekking and many more activities too. Like many other African nations, Zimbabwe has faced some political troubles in recent years. However, tourism is one area where it continues to grow and thrive.
